Here the students are scanning qr codes with their devices.  The scan gives them an equation to work out at their desk.

Snake!

In class the students are practicing their skills using a game I call snake.  In the game the students are given a problem, the person in front of them and to their sides are their resources to help them with the problem.  After each problem the students move around the room in a snake like motion allowing them new partners every problem.
